Bichromatic pumping field as an effective means of controlling the amplification of terahertz radiation in a semiconductor superlattice

Abstract:
The authors theoretically investigate amplification methods based on the use of bichromatic pump field. It is shown that the amplification of the weak probe field in these methods is possible without destructive instabilities.
