The problem of lift maximization for circle with a vortex in a stream

E. V. Varsegova

N. G. Chebotarev Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics Kazan State University
References:
Abstract: The key part of the problem lies in finding of vortex position in a stream which would provide the maximum lift of circle. It has been shown that at approaching of a vortex to circle the lift unrestrictedly increases.
Key words: ideal incompressible fluid, circle, vortex.
