Abstract: The report considers the problem of classifying the behavior of complex systems based on a comparison of a characteristic function presented by an expert and a function derived from data. Such situations are typical for economics, sociology, biology, and other fields. To solve the problem, a characteristic function is described in the form of a system of fuzzy conditions describing its behavior, and an algorithm is proposed for calculating the degree of compliance of an empirical function with such a system of fuzzy conditions.
