Radiation-stimulated modification of the properties of metals and alloys

Abstract:
Radiation-stimulated diffusion of the hydrogen and its isotopes of stainless steels, palladium, niobium was experimental explored. The ability to accumulate energy by vibrational-excitad hydrogen states and relationships was discovered. The analysis of experimental results allows to draw a conclusion that irradiations of metals, saturated by hydrogen and deuterium, electrons with energy 10$^4$–10$^5$ эВ , is accompanied by excitation of internal hydrogen atmosphere and efficient reduction of the potential barrier on the way of hydrogen and deuterium exit of metal. The important applied aspect of unbalanced exit of hydrogen and its isotope effects are a possibility of the operated modification of metal and alloys characteristic.
