Abstract:
The paper shows the possibility in principle of explaining the nature of the reduction of inertia moment of solid helium at
cooling based on the solid-state model of the physical vacuum of MSV. The observed phenomenon is caused by the fact that
part of the helium passes into a state in which the energy needed to move this part in any direction is drawn from the energy of
the vacuum. Therefore, it is not necessary to move helium with respect to the solid body in which it is contained, in order for
the body to loose some of its original mass. There is a decrease in body weight in changes in the vibration frequency of a
torsion pendulum made of a solid body containing helium in the capillaries.
