Computer graphics applications in CAD

Abstract: The paper presents review of R&D works conducted at KIAM on computer graphics applications for exterior and interior architecture design, simulation of complex optical light guiding systems like PLED and car headlights, simulation and visualization of multilayer coatings with complex internal mictrostructure, simulation and visualization of cloth. The approach is based on physically accurate simulation of light propagation.
