Investigation of the rotatory plasma flows based on the two-dimensional one-component MHD-model

Abstract:
Computations of axisymmetric plasma flows in coaxial accelerator with longitudinal magnetic field are considered. The investigations are carried out within the framework of two-dimensional one-component MHD-model in case of three-component magnetic field. The steady-state flows are calculated by the relaxation method for time-dependent MHD-equations. The numerical and analytical solutions are compared with reference to steady-state transonic two-dimensional plasma flows in accelerator channels. The features of the plasma-dynamic processes are exposed. It is found that the current layers are appeared in plasma flows in case of respective large longitudinal magnetic field.
