Detection of singularities of the gas dynamics fields with the aid of complex Gabor filters

L. I. Levkovich-Maslyuk
Abstract: Presented are the results of experiments on detection of singularities of gas dynamics fields, including shock waves and weak discontinuities, with the aid of Gabor complex-valued filters of short length. In the examples that were studied, the method have shown high precision of singularities localization. No special adaptation of the method parameters to the fields used in the tests has been performed.
