Wavelet analysis application for the localization of structures in the calculations for ideal and viscous models and for the grids adaptation
A. L. Afendikov, A. E. Lutsky, A. V. Plenkin
Abstract:
Localized structures were singled out with the use of wavelet algorithm from the shock capturing two-dimensional calculations for the inviscid Euler model and Reynolds equations with $k - \epsilon$ turbulence model and analyzed. It is demonstrated that in the viscous model with Reynolds's numbers $R \sim 10^6$ localized structures corresponding to the shock waves in Euler model are found with high accuracy. In the viscous model additional structures corresponding to vortices, to the boundary and mixing layers are found. The results of shock waves localization in the three-dimensional calculation for viscous model are also presented. Efficiency of wavelet based algorithm of singularities localization for calculation adaptation to singularities position is presented.
