Inverse problem of measuring the ultrashort laser pulse parameters

P. Yu. Tomin
Abstract: The problem of measuring the ultrashort laser pulse parameters is considered. The measuring method that is based on the second harmonic generation phenomenon in non-linear optical medium is investigated. Mathematical model of the experiment is described. The generalized projections method is considered and realized. The method for filtering data with experimental noise is proposed. The mathematical modeling of the problem demonstrates the coincidence of original and reconstructed parameters within the framework of the approach considered.
