The hyperbolisity of equations of a isothermal multi-phase compositional filtration

A. V. Koldoba, E. V. Koldoba
References:
Abstract: Hyperbolic properties of equations of isothermal multi-phase compositional filtration were investigated. It was shown that quasi-linear form of these equations may be presented in symmetric form. Propagation velocities of weak discontinuities of concentrations and saturations are solutions of eigenvalue problem, which is decomposed on thermodynamical and hydrodynamical subproblems. Conditions which guarantee full set of eigenvalues for this problem was formulated. The filtration of quasi-ideal mixtures was considered.
