Multigrid method for unstructured finite element discretizations of aerodynamics equations

Abstract:
A multigrid algorithm for the solution of stabilized finite element discretizations of fluid dynamics equations on unstructured grids is described. The method is intended to accelerate Krylov subspace methods. The results of computations are presented to show capability of the algorithm for the Euler and Navier–Stokes systems.
