Uranium equation of state calculated by using inferno model

V. G. Novikov, A. A. Ovechkin
References:
Abstract: The algorithm for the computation of self-consistent atomic potential in INFERNO model is considered. The proposed method allows to take into account the detailed structure of shape resonances that leads to a smooth behaviour of thermodinamic functions under pressure ionization. Calculations of uranium equation of state are performed in a wide range of temperatures and densities. The calculated Hugoniot adiabat is compared with experimental data.
