Kalman filter algorithm for satellite attitude parameters estimation

Abstract:
Kalman Filter using magnetometer, sun sensor and angular rate sensor measurements is developed. Mathematical model of motion of the small satellite with respect to flywheel torques is linearized. Problem of the Kalman filter accuracy and convergence study is transferred to search of optimal values of a several Kalman filter parameters.
