Comparison of turbulence models for a supersonic tip vortex simulation

Abstract:
In the paper the turbulence models SA, SST and DES based on SA are compared for simulation of supersonic tip vortex at incoming flow Mach number equal to 3 and wing generator attack angles of 10 and 20 degrees. The simulations were carried out on the hybrid supercomputer system K-60 at the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics RAS.
