Abstract: This work is devoted to the memory of academician D. E. Okhotsymsky, whose life was dedicated only to the science. He attend to the space theme already on the 4-th course of the MSU. His imported work about ballistic possibilities of the compound rockets was written to 1948–1949. There are well-known his works about moving of liquid in the rocket tanks, the sputnik time life, the sputnik correction, orientation and re-entering. The object “Applied space mechanic” was created, for the first time, from Okhotsymsky lectures.
D. E. Okhotsymsky worked in a close collaboration with S. P. Korolev. Bellow it is shown unknown work of them with destination of the points of the space flights for ages. He was one of the first, who founded as theory in robotic, both and of manipulators, walkers constructing and so on.
The main content of this work is description of some interesting episodes from the life of D. E. Okhotsymsky.
