Linear quadratic control for spacecraft large-angle maneuvers

Abstract:
The inertial stabilization problem of a spacecraft moving in a geostationary orbit is considered. Linear quadratic control laws which realize large-angle maneuvers are obtained by means of corresponding selection of algebraic Riccati equation stabilizing solutions.
