Modelling of the flow in front of the jet obstacle

Abstract:
The paper considers the numerical simulation results for the problem of a supersonic flow interaction with a jet obstacle. The problem is solved within the framework of the Navier–Stokes system of equations. The simulation considers laminar flows. The change in the flow pattern with velocity variation of the transverse jet forming the jet obstacle is investigated. The calculations were carried out using the open software package OpenFOAM.
