The account for correlations between nearest neighbors in micromagnetic modeling
A. V. Ivanov
Abstract:
At present, micromagnetic modeling based on the Landau–Lifshitz–Bloch equation (LLB) with account for temperature fluctuations is an integral part in creating spintronics and magnetic microelectronics devices. The main disadvantage of such modelling is the mean field approximation that is used in the construction of the LLB equation. Since the correlations between the nearest neighbors are neglected, incorrect values of energy and relaxation times are obtained, which reduces the adequacy of the simulation results.
In this paper, based on the approximation of the two–particle distribution function, and taking into account the correlation between the nearest neighbors a micromagnetic equation of the LLB type supplemented by an equation for pair correlations is constructed. The results of the constructed model are in good agreement with atomistic simulation results under various conditions.
