Abstract:
New method for the magnetic encephalography data analysis was proposed, making it possible to transform multichannel time series into the spatial structure of the human brain activity. We studied the spectral and energy characteristics of sources generating frequencies that correspond to standard rhythms of encephalography, from the delta rhythm to the gamma rhythm. It was found that the relationship between the spectral characteristics of the magnetoencephalogram of the subject is different in different experiments. It was found that most of the dipole sources of the delta rhythm (frequency band from 0.3 to 4 Hz) are localized outside the brain, and their spectrum corresponds to harmonics of the heart rhythm. To study the spatial distribution of the sources of all rhythms from theta to gamma, partial spectra of the main sections of the brain were calculated.
