Main positions of electromagnetic hydrodynamics of plasma (EMHD)

M. B. Gavrikov
References:
Abstract: The paper discusses the main positions of ElectroMagnetic HydroDynamics (EMHD) of plasma, which is the theoretical basis for the study of nonrelativistic processes in real plasma. The proposed positions are illustrated by analyzing three important plasma effects and demonstrate the fundamental difference between the EMHD and MHD plasma theories.
Keywords: classical MHD, electromagnetic hydrodynamics (EMHD).
