Abstract:
In this work, the injection of plasma flows generated in the quasi-steady plasma accelerator (QSPA) into a region with a magnetic field created by the ring conductors with a current is considered. The investigations were carried out on the basis of the set of the MHD equations represented in terms of the vector potential of the magnetic field, taking into account the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and radiation transport. The interaction of the plasma flow with the magnetic field of one ring with current, the system of rings forming a solenoid, and also with the magnetic field of the multi-mirror trap are considered.
