Abstract:
This paper is devoted to the comparison of spatial distributions of gas parameters (such as density, pressure and velocity) near the open ends of the capillary and inside it, as well as the time needed to establish a constant flow for viscous and inviscid gas models. The results were obtained by modeling the capillary filling with molecular hydrogen using code MARPLE (Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics) and code ANSYS CFX. Discharge simulations were performed using the code MARPLE.
