Abstract: The paper discusses some typical issues appearing in numerical simulation of multicomponent multiphase flow problems using fully implicit time approximation schemes. Some approaches improving nonlinear iterations convergence are described. The results of testing using Society of Petroleum Engineers test cases are presented.
