The model of electric initiation of detonation in a detonator channel

Abstract:
In this paper the mathematical model of initiation of detonation by the use of electric charge is described. The numerical results of detonation modeling in a cylindrical channel, obtaining with the use of 2D gas dynamic numerical program H3T, are investigated. The various regimes of detonation are compared for various initial conditions and densities. The numerical simulation results are compared with experimental data.
