Discrete fracture network modelling: A computational algorithms

Abstract:
The paper reviews computational algorithms with application to multiphase flow modelling in discrete fracture network, accounting for non-uniform fracture aperture, flow exchange between fractures, capillary and gravity forces. Computational algorithms are based on control volume finite element method.
