On the coefficient of blackness of semitransparent bodies

K. K. Manuilov
References:
Abstract: For the particular case of radiative heat balance the solution of heat transfer equation is obtained describing the semi-transparent environment as an opaque body. It is shown that optical properties of the media are radically changed by thermal insulation of its composing layers.
Keywords: diathermancy, the greenhouse effect, the heat balance.
