Modelling of quasi-stationary electromagnetic fields in regions with disconnected conductive subregions
M. P. Galanin, D. L. Sorokin
Abstract:
Methods for a numerical solution of Maxwell's equations in the quasi-stationary approximation in a domain with multiply connected conducting subdomains were discussed. The case of nontrivial operator kernel was explored. The methods of finding the normal solution for the linear algebraic equations system were analyzed. The method of introducing a “fictional projectile” was offered as alternative for searching a normal solution of linear algebraic equations method. The program that allows simulating electromagnetic fields in a complex geometrical form of the accelerator was developed, results of computational experiments were presented. The study was carried out at the example of calculation of electrodynamic acceleration process in the railgun channel.
