Scaling properties of distributed rendering systems based on adaptive path tracing and metropolis light transport algorithms in heterogeneous networks

Abstract:
In this paper we present new approach to distributed rendering on GPU and CPU based on GRID computing paradigm. We propose new actor-based model for peers' behavior and present the results of numerical study of its properties.
