Abstract:
The three-dimensional heat equation is considered, which takes into account the presence of convective terms and phase transitions. Finite element method for the problem as well as two time discretization schemes are described. For the phase transition problem the enthalpy smoothing method is used. The algorithm for the monotization of the convection-diffusion equation solution is examined. Several test results are presented.
