Model system describing some aspects of celestial bodies’ dynamics in first order mean motion resonance

S. S. Efimov, V. V. Sidorenko
References:
Abstract: Hamiltonian system with two degrees of freedom is considered, in which fast and slow variables can be distinguished. The averaging method is applied to study of slow variables’ evolution. Stochastic behavior of the system is indicated.
Keywords: Hamiltonian system, averaging method.
