Abstract:
TCS–3D simulator is software for direct numerical simulation of 3D turbulent reacting multicomponent flows on supercomputer. In this paper we present description of computational model, which was put into the essence of the program's core. The single grid algorithm and overall scheme of parallel computations on hierarchical grid structure are described. Transport equations are approximated by a high-order scheme. Test examples demonstrating efficiency of adaptive mesh refinement in application to combustion problems are presented.
Keywords:
Direct Numerical Simulation, Low Mach number combustion, adaptive mesh refinement.
