Mathematical model for calculation the electrophysical properties of nanocomposite with tunnel conductivity and its numerical realization

Abstract: Mathematical modeling of distribution of the electric field potential and strength, and also calculation of the electrophysical properties of nanocomposite metal-insulator is created. Magnetic nanocomposite with ferromagnetic single domain granules chaotically located in a dialectric matrix is considered. Nanocomposite is divided into cells filled with dielectric where a number of metal granules is located. The distribution of the electric field potential and strength and the effective capacity and resistance of a cell may be calculated within the framework of the model. Calculation was carried out on the basis of the stationary Maxwell equations. The finite elements method is used for the numerical solution. Distribution of the electric field potential and strength for different configurations of metal inclusions in the cell of nanocomposite is obtained as a result of calculations. These results aid to calculate the appropriate electrical capacity and resistance of cells of the nanocomposite depending on the concentration of metal granules – inclusions.
