Abstract:
The goal of this paper is to provide comprehensive description of non-isothermal model for compositional flow simulation in subsurface media suitable for further analysis and construction of numerical algorithms. The model accounts for compositional and thermal effects, chemical reactions and adsorption, diffusion and mechanical dispersion, as well as active solid phase, which can participate in chemical reactions.
Keywords:
reservoir simulation, non-isothermal compositional model, chemical reactions, active solid phase.
