Oscillation Excitation Simulation in Beam - Plasma Generator

S. L. Ginzburg, V. F. Dyachenko, V. V. Paleychik, K. V. Khodataev
Abstract: A two-dimensional computer code has been developed for numerical calculation of plasma-field interactions are described Maxwell-Vlasov's system. The code has been applied to the study of the initial phase of electromagnetic field excitation by means of injection relativistic electron beam into a delay device. Intensive generation takes place if a beam velocity exceeds a threshold value. This value depends on frequence - wave characteristics of the device.
