A Study of Finite Difference Schemes for Electrokinetic Processes in Porous Media

S. I. Mukhin, K. L. Safonov
Abstract: The work is dedicated to investigation of finite difference schemes for electrocinetic migration equations in porous media with chemical reactions. The comparison of solutions obtained by implicit 2D schema, explicit 2D schema , 1,5D schema are made. The results of computations for all suggested finite difference schemes are presented and for definite values of parameters the closeness of solutions are displayed.
