Comprehensive Study of Soft Magnetic Hysteresis Rod Properties

Abstract:
Paper is purposed for experimental determination of the soft magnetic material properties which is used in small satellite attitude control system and for theoretical justification of the data obtained. Hysteresis curve form disturbances caused by RC-chain is investigated. Huge distortions of coercive force are accounted for by eddy currents in the rod. An approximate solution of the infinite long rod nonlinear magnetization inside variable magnetic field task is proposed. Results of experiments from laboratory facility are discussed. Reliability of results obtained is justified.
