Estimations of Zero Moment Extremal Value Variations on the Discrete Raster

Abstract: The work provides analytical estimations of zero order moment (number of square grid pixels lying in object image) variations due to image position changes in a raster. These estimations makes it possible to determine the accuracy of moment calculations and, thus, the accuracy of recognition methods based on it.
