Abstract: The paper deals with problems of grouped mobile robots behaviour. A review of basic investigation directions of distributed mobile systems (DMS) is given. Qualitative aspects of DMS control and conceptions of virtual device and virtual effector are described. The problem of effectiveness criterions choice is classified.
