To the Investigation of MHD Flows in Channels with the use of One-Dimensional Models. Part 2
K. P. Gorshenin
Abstract:
The consequences of the equations of MHD flow in a stream tube are considered. The simple formulae, which permit to determine on the basis of measured distributions of electromagnetic field parameters if a two-dimensional flow is steady, are proposed. Various restrictions on integral characteristics of two-dimensional flow, which correspond to flows without electric current vortices, are derived. It is shown that the stream tube shape influences on the monotonicity of mass flow rate and potential difference dependence on a discharge current. The flows in a stream tube with constant cross size are analyzed.
