Abstract:
The problem of the sun radiation transport in the Earth atmosphere is being considered. The light beams trajectories in the spherical shell coincide with the characteristics of the differential operator. The algorithm is presented to compute the orthogonal curvilinear coordinates of the spatial points and of the beams directions on the characteristics trajectories.
