Controlled Rotation of Elastic Pivot on Plane

Yu. F. Golubev, A. E. Ditkovskiy
Abstract: Problem of elastic pivot rotation control is considered. Purpose of control is to transfer the pivot on plane from the given initial angular position to the given final angular position without oscillations at the end of maneuver taking into account longitudal and bending deformations. General equations of motion are deduced. Required control moment is built for the case when the longitudal stiffness greatly exceeds the bending stiffness and for the case when the longitudal deformation is absent (the case of stiff thin pivot).
