An Atmosphere Optics Inverse Problem: Retrieval of Cloud's Optical Parameters Using the Remote Sensing Data

A. A. Ioltukhovski
Abstract: The method of correction of the horizontal unhomogeneity effect is generalized to 3-D layer, this increase of dimensionality, however, does not affect the accuracy of correction. The method of retrieval of the two basic optical parameters, which determine the radioactive transport in optically thick medium, is proposed. Influence of the scale of averaging on accuracy of the correction procedure is investigated.
