Using network scanner for increasing security of the corporate information network

Abstract: The detailed description of network scanner functionalities and technologies of detecting vulnerability in a system of various network resources protection using network scanner is given. Researches of the system of corporate information computer network protection, carried out at the Keldysh Institute for Applied Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Science. They have allowed estimating network security as a whole, to find weak spots, and to develop a technique of increasing network resources reliability and security.
