Abstract: This paper is devoted to the study of the motion of a platform maintained on an aircraft in a predetermined position by a system of gyroscopes, which does follows oscillations of the aircraft. Such systems are used for determining the angular position of the aircraft. We briefly review key results on this issue without detailed proofs.
