Discrete approximations of dynamical quantum Zeno effect

Abstract: In this paper, we discuss approximations of the dynamical quantum Zeno effect by a fixed number of nonselective quantum measurements. A wide class of measurements whose efficiency is close to optimal in the case of two-level systems is found.
