Evidence-based computational experiment in the study of the Cauchy problem for a differential equation with a deviating argument

Abstract: An approximate solution of the Cauchy problem for a differential equation with a deviating argument is considered. If a solution of the problem exists, then the computational experiment makes it possible to prove the solvability and obtain a guaranteed estimate of the norm of the error for approximate solutions.
