Abstract: The paper describes the first stage of the system-object determinant analysis of systems, including the construction of a taxonomy of a given subject area. The system-object approach “Unit- Function-Object” and formalization tools using the language of description logic ALCHOIQ are applied to the classes of systems. The relationship between the procedure for constructing a taxonomy and system-wide regularities is considered. An example of the constructed taxonomy is given.
