V. G. Red'ko Center for Optical Neural Technologies, Scientific-Research Institute for System Analysis, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract:
The area of investigations “Adaptive Behavior” is characterized. Biologically inspired approach to artificial intelligence is developed in this direction. Typical examples of adaptive behavior models are described. The main attention is paid to models of autonomous self-learning animats (model organisms). The method of reinforcement learning that is often used at autonomous adaptation is characterized. The original project “Animat Brain” is described.
