Abstract:
The axiomatic approach to reduce the Pareto set in a multicriteria choice problem on the basis of the information set, which received from the DM, is considered. The author develops this approach from the beginning of 80th years of last century. Used information reflects in what measure the DM is ready to lose in values on one group of criteria for the sake of improvement of values for several other groups of criteria. It is shown that using of the above information allows us to remove variety of elements from the initial Pareto set and, thereby, to facilitate the further choice process.
